The Tigers found themselves in three shootouts in a row early in SEC play, losing one of them to Ole Miss, but they turned in a much more complete performance in Week 7’s 48-18 home win over Auburn.
With that victory, as well as losses from team’s ranked above it, LSU is moving up in this week’s ESPN Football Power Index. The FPI rankings as a whole saw some changes this week with Oregon falling to Washington, Notre Dame upsetting USC and North Carolina surviving against Miami.
