The LSU Tigers extended their winning streak to two games on Saturday night, avoiding the stresses of the previous three weeks’ shootouts.
LSU dominated Auburn throughout, jumping out to a 17-0 first-quarter lead before pulling away to a 48-18 win thanks to another big offensive performance and a promising outing from the defense, as well.
With the victory, LSU is moving up in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll, which saw three teams ranked just below the Tigers drop out in Washington State, Kentucky and Kansas, which all suffered losses to unranked opponents.
The top 10 didn’t see a ton of movement, though USC fell quite a bit after a blowout loss at Notre Dame.
Here’s how the full coaches poll looks after Week 7.
