LSU makes the top 11 for 4-star safety

Xavier Filsaime, a 2024 safety prospect from Texas, cut his list down to 11 on Saturday.

[autotag]Xavier Filsaime[/autotag] released his top 11 schools list and the LSU Tigers made the cut. LSU joins SMU, Baylor, Florida State, Georgia, USC, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, TCU, and Oregon.

Filsaime stars for the McKinney Lions in McKinney, Texas. The Lions finished their 2022 campaign 8-5 with a loss to Southlake Carroll in the third round of the playoffs. SMU is currently the favorite to land the 2024 four-star safety at 32% by On3.

He has no crystal ball projections at this time.

LSU currently has eight commitments for the 2024 class (including one from Texas). Their class is the No. 1 ranked class in the country right now. Brian Kelly has brought in one outstanding recruiting class so far and he is working on another great one as early national signing day nears for the 2023 class.

Meanwhile, the Tigers are preparing for their bowl game as they will play the Purdue Boilermakers in the Citrus Bowl on Jan. 2.
