LSU has 7th-best national championship odds in 2024, per FanDuel

Despite the losses on both sides of the ball, there are reasons for optimism heading into 2024.

LSU is set to lose quite a bit from its prolific 2024 offense as [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag], [autotag]Malik Nabers[/autotag] and [autotag]Brian Thomas Jr.[/autotag] are moving on.

Still, there are reasons to be optimistic. [autotag]Garrett Nussmeier[/autotag] has impressed in the action he’s seen, leading a comeback win while throwing for almost 400 yards in his first start in the ReliaQuest Bowl. Meanwhile, the defense that held the team back is in the midst of a staff overhaul that the team hopes will reap positive returns.

While the Tigers aren’t going to be the most hyped team entering the season, their national title odds are pretty good. According to FanDuel, the team sits at +1500 in a tie for the seventh-best odds with conference foe Ole Miss, which portaled one of the top classes in the country.
