Texas is understandably gaining momentum on the recruiting trail after the big win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa last week.
The Longhorns will be hosting a slew of talented recruits from the 2024 and 2025 class in Week 3, but one of the more interesting visitors is an LSU commit.
Five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore will be in Austin on Saturday night for the Wyoming game. Moore reportedly told Inside Texas on Wednesday that he would be making the trip to visit Texas. Orangebloods’ Jason Suchomel has also confirmed the report.
Moore committed to LSU on August 12 and the Longhorns were considered one of the top schools in his recruitment. It’s clear Steve Sarkisian’s staff has not backed off communication over the last month.
The Duncanville product (Denton, TX) is rated the No. 2 wide receiver in the country for the 2025 recruiting class and the No. 1 overall prospect in Texas, according to 247Sports.
This will be Moore’s first visit to another school since his commitment to LSU.
