The rubber match between LSU and Kentucky will have to wait. The game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. CT, but due to weather, the field will not be ready by then.
The series between No. 1 LSU and No. 12 Kentucky started on Thursday night. The LSU bats showed up in a major way as the Tigers had their own version of a home run derby and they took home a run-rule win in eight innings.
Game 2 started out great for LSU as they took an early lead and extended that lead out to 6-2 before errors eventually doomed the Tigers as the Wildcats evened the series with a 13-10 win.
[autotag]Christian Little[/autotag] is slated to start Game 3 on the mound. He enters the game with a 2-1 record and a 4.05 ERA. He’s looking for a bounce-back game after giving up two runs in 2.2 innings in his last two outings. Kentucky’s starting pitcher is yet to be named.
Due to weather, the game will not begin at 1:00 p.m. CT. We will keep y'all updated on the start time as we learn more. https://t.co/tER9wwqUXU
