Lakers at Pacers: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Lakers 115, Pacers 106

Money line (ML)

The Pacers have struggled at home this season, going 13-22, while the Lakers have been almost equal on the road as at home (21-15 at home, 19-15 on the road). Los Angeles has won three straight games as it tries to get out of the play-in tournament. Both teams are down several players with injuries but the Lakers appear to have more to play for.

It doesn’t give a ton of value, but it is an easier play than the spread because of both teams’ inconsistencies. Take the LAKERS (-275).

Against the spread (ATS)

Neither team has a good cover percentage. The Lakers have covered the spread in 44.9% of their games and the Pacers have done so at a 43.5% clip. The Lakers won three games in a row but failed to cover the spread in each of their last two games.

The Lakers are better on the road at 17-16-1 ATS, while the Pacers are 12-23 ATS at home for the third-worst record in the league.

Take the LAKERS -7 (-110).

Over/Under (O/U)

The Lakers have the lowest Over percentage in the league at 39.1%. They have not had two consecutive games go Over the projected total since April 15 and 17. Their last game hit the Over Wednesday.

Seven of the last 10 games for the Pacers played to the Over. They have the highest Over percentage in the league at 60.9%; however, Los Angeles allows the second-fewest points per game in the league.

Take UNDER 226.5 (-110).
