In what will be the first-ever game at SoFi Stadium with fans in the stands, the Los Angeles Chargers will take on the Los Angeles Rams as the teams share the stadium in Inglewood, Calif., Saturday night. Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Chargers at Rams odds and lines.
The Chargers are coming off a 7-9 season in which rookie QB Justin Herbert was the starter in 15 of 16 games. He was the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year throwing for 4,336 yards and 31 touchdowns. Former Rams defensive coordinator Brandon Staley takes over as the head coach hoping to turn the Chargers into contenders in the AFC West.
The Rams will take a guarded approach in the preseason keeping their starters on the sideline for these exhibition games. Backup QB John Wolford is also out after having an appendectomy, and the Rams will be going with their third-string quarterback. QB Matthew Stafford won’t be on the field nor will DT Aaron Donald or CB Jalen Ramsey.

The Rams are the underdogs in this one at +145. That gives them an implied win probability of 40.82% against the Chargers. If they win outright, a $10 wager will net a profit of $14.50. If you bet $10 on the Chargers to win outright, it would return a profit of $5.56. They have an implied win probability of 64.29%.
If you were to bet $10 on the Rams to cover the 3.5-point spread, they would have to win outright or lose by three points or fewer to net a profit of $8. A $10 bet on the Chargers to cover the spread and win by at least four points would return a profit of $10.
A $10 wager on the Over (-105) would profit $9.52, and a winning Under (-115) ticket would net a profit of $8.70.
