When Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley posted a picture of his Easter brisket, Texas fans and players began to roast the finished product.

It wasn’t the Easter Sunday that Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley was expecting.

Riley, seemingly proud of his work, posted a picture on Twitter of a brisket that he made for Easter. Just minutes after, comments began to flood in regarding the final product appearing to look overcooked and dry.

Before you know it, comparisons between Oklahoma’s defense and the brisket began making their rounds on social media. Many compared the picture to beef jerky, while others came up with creative jabs of their own.

Texas fans took the golden opportunity to poke fun at a conference rival. Players, fans, and media members each chimed in with their thoughts on the poor attempt at barbecue.
