It slid a little under the radar, but Wednesday was the first day that Ohio State players and coaches could technically be together for workouts under the approved six-week preseason plan the NCAA approved a couple of weeks ago. And so it was apparently at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, as the coaching staff had some door prizes for the football program by way of some well-earned swag.
According to several posts on social media by Buckeye football players, they received some pretty amazing looking Big Ten championship rings, as well as another pair of gold pants for beating That Team Up North. Again.
We could post any one of several players that shared some pretty nice images of these jewels, but we believe tight end Jeremy Ruckert’s is well worth a look.

Hopefully, we’ll see more of this type of rewarding jewelry this fall and beyond.
