LOOK. Ohio State creates Buckeye leaf circles on oval for social distancing

The folks at Ohio State have found a unique way to encourage social distancing within the oval. It is uniquely Buckeye.

You could make a very long list of the creativity many have come up with in order to promote social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic. For example, if you’ve been to Starbucks, there’s what looks like a theme park waiting line with a maze of socially distanced spots for everyone to stand and wait. Heck, my grocery store has arrows imploring and nudging you which way you need to walk up or down each aisle.

Not that many follow it, but still — it’s a fine effort.

And now, not to be outdone, the folks at Ohio State have created their own socially distance tool on the lawn of the oval. Students have recently arrived back on campus, and there are concerns that college students won’t take mask-wearing or distancing seriously.

So, in order to keep it all fresh in everyone’s minds, OSU has created circles complete with Buckeye leaves throughout the oval, all at least six-feet away from each other.

Take a look below and get a look at how it all appears from above.

It’s a unique idea, but it’s an even more of a hoot to look at.
