In the middle of a deep postseason run, LSU’s women’s basketball team got some swag on behalf of Vanessa Bryant, the wife of the late Kobe Bryant.
In a video posted to the team’s Twitter account, the group unboxed Kobe 6 Grinches.
The gift comes as LSU prepares for an Elite 8 showdown with the Miami Hurricanes. LSU squeaked by Utah in the Sweet 16 to earn its first Elite Eight appearance since 2008.
[autotag]Angel Reese[/autotag] led LSU with 17 points and [autotag]Alexis Morris[/autotag] added 15. In what’s become par for the course for Reese, she grabbed 12 rebounds, giving her a double-double.
LSU’s region worked out favorably with No. 9 seed Miami the opponent in the Elite Eight.

BetMGM says LSU is a 9.5-point favorite with a -550 money line. But Miami is here for a reason and at this point in the tournament, nothing comes easy.
If LSU wins, it’ll face the winner of Virginia Tech and Ohio State in the Final Four.
