LOOK: Former Ohio State DE Chase Young can lift an ungodly amount of weight

Former Ohio State and current Washington Redskins defensive end Chase Young can lift the equivalent of a small country on the bench press.

In case you had any doubts about it, former Ohio State and current Washington Redskins defensive end Chase Young is a pretty strong fella. And as rumor would have it, that’s pretty helpful on the football field.

Pete Hailey of NBC Sports Washington was apparently on hand to watch Thor — I mean, Young, go through some weight work a couple of days ago and probably had to back up to get all pieces of iron in the picture.

It’s too hard to zoom in and tell, but it looks like the weight he is lifting is somewhere between a small bus and a full-size, gas-guzzling motor home, but that’s with the untrained eyes.

Our friends at Redskins Wire had the scoop, and we just had to share. Also, as a public service announcement and note to self — don’t make Chase Young angry.
