LOOK: Best photos from Texas’ thrilling overtime win over Kansas State

Texas’ Big 12 title goals and College Football Playoff hopes are still alive.

No. 7 Texas suffered a scare in Week 10 against No. 23 Kansas State, but ultimately good teams find ways to win when they’re not at their best.

The Longhorns started the game off hot, leading by 17 points at one point in the second quarter. Shortly before halftime, everything began to fall apart. A blocked punt, two interceptions, fumble, and questionable playcalling quickly ensued.

Backup quarterback Maalik Murphy struggled in his second career start. After looking confident and accurate in the first quarter, Murphy couldn’t get anything going the remainder of the game. He was missing wide open intermediate throws and making questionable decisions.

Fortunately for Texas, Pete Kwiatkowski’s defense stepped up when it mattered most with a clutch fourth down stop in overtime to secure the win. Here’s a look at the best photos from the thrilling Texas-Kansas State matchup.
