LOOK: A few of Texas’ newcomers in the Burnt Orange

These guys are ready to help Texas get back in the right direction.

The offseason hype train for Texas football has already begun to take off.

Many around the program are ecstatic for the new season to arrive. A major reason many believe Texas will drastically improve from last season’s 5-7 record is the talented group to newcomers joining the program.

Steve Sarkisian and his staff brought in seven transfers to help revamp the roster in a quick way.

Texas boosted the offensive side of the ball with the addition of quarterback Quinn Ewers, wide receivers Isaiah Neyor, Agiye Hall and Tarique Milton, along with tight end Jahleel Billingsley. All of which should compete for playing time from the jump.

On the defense, Texas fill a few holes with veteran transfers. Defensive back Ryan Watts and linebacker Diamonte Tucker-Dorsey join a older defense ready to prove last season’s struggles are behind them.

Here is a look at Ewers, Neyor, Tucker-Doresy and Watts in their new Texas threads.
