The only valid argument here is that Herman deserves another season due to COVID-19 disruptions. However, every other team is having to deal with these same issues and are not losing to unranked teams in the manner that Herman is.
Regardless of the new coordinators, Herman’s teams are experiencing the same familiar failures. Texas is an undisciplined football team and the blame has to fall on the shoulders of the head coach.
Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte appears to strive to hire proven coaches. If Herman loses two more games this season, the Longhorns should move in a new direction.
