Longhorns among top schools for 2022 four-star running back

Four-star running back Jadarian Price released the final eight schools left in the running to land his commitment.

Denison Yellow Jackets running back Jadarian “J.D.” Price released his top eight schools on Christmas morning.

Texas offered the four-star, all-purpose back on May 17, 2019. Other Big 12 schools in the running for his commitment include Baylor, Oklahoma State and Texas Christian. Ohio State, Minnesota and USC are among the programs left in the running as well.

Price displays good vision and the ability to make the cut to get into the crease. He can be used as both a runner and a pass catcher out of the backfield. Price will need to continue to get opportunities in the passing game to show off his abilities, but overall he’s a very solid running back prospect. He can be a handful for defenders in space as he can create missed tackles with his shiftiness.
