Doug Marrone is the second hire that has gone from an NFL head coaching position to being an assistant coach with the Crimson Tide.
Marrone was the head coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars for the 2020 season, but was terminated.
He offers plenty of professional and collegiate experience that will undoubtedly help Alabama.
