After watching Philadelphia’s dominant offensive line depth in person, the Detroit Lions are signing Kayode Awosika off the Eagles’ practice squad to their active roster.
The Eagles initially signed Awosika as an undrafted free agent in 2021 out of the University of Buffalo.
Awosika saw time in one game last season, making his NFL debut during the regular-season finale against Dallas.
Detroit was without offensive guard Tommy Kraemer on Sunday against Philadelphia, and former EAgle Halapoulivaati Vaitai is already out on injured reserve with a back injury.
