It’s going to snow.
Throughout this past week, the possibility of snowfall in Orchard Park during the Buffalo Bills’ Week 15 matchup with the Miami Dolphins has been discussed. Now just a day before kickoff, it appears it’s going to be the heavy stuff.
Since we’re closer to the game time, we have a better grasp on how accurate weather forecasts are. Those are telling us that lake-effect snow will hit Orchard Park over the weekend.
According to WROC-TV, Orchard Park has been upgraded to a “lake-effect snow warning” which will begin Friday and continue through Saturday’s Bills (10-3) matchup with the Dolphins (8-5):
Orchard Park has been upgraded to a Lake Effect Snow Warning, set to kick in Friday night & run through the weekend. A narrow but intense plume of accumulation could yield more than a foot of snow where squalls persist. Welcome to WNY, @MiamiDolphins #billsmafia pic.twitter.com/QQ1sRJMOkT

Another forecast update from WKBW-TV noted the snowfall timeline. Reportedly it could mostly fall prior to kickoff.
However, accumulation might peak over a foot during the game. That will undoubtedly make travels difficult. But at this time, there have been no discussions about the possibility of the matchup being moved out of western New York.
Here’s the timeline of what to expect on Saturday:
❄️ BILLS GAME SNOWCAST! ❄️
