LeSean McCoy gives some candid thoughts on Bills legend Jim Kelly (video)

Welp… we tried to look at both sides here…

Well now…

Former Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy might have put his stock with Bills Mafia in a little bit of jeopardy.

Hall of Famer and legendary Bills quarterback Jim Kelly recently dished some thoughts on the current state of the team. He said that current QB, Josh Allen, “can’t do it all himself.”

During a discussion on “Up & Adams” on Fan Duel TV, McCoy did the same. His thought initially began in a very interesting manner.

McCoy commented that Kelly “just likes to talk.” Fair enough, a lot of former players for teams that are beloved do talking.

Plus, Kelly was actually interviewed when he made his statement, so a reporter asked him a question, likely about the current team, leading to the statement.

Then “Shady” went a bit off the rails.

The topic McCoy was speaking on was based on the Bills offense, which is why Kelly was mentioned.

Instead of going back on topic, McCoy then decided to note how Kelly lost four Super Bowls with the Bills… ouch.

Playing devil’s advocate for both: McCoy has former teammates still on the team–not only that, McCoy played with running backs that previously started for the the Bills such as Devin Singletary and Frank Gore.

Maybe he was just trying to stand up for his guys a bit?

In the same light, Kelly naturally would respect the heck out of the work fellow Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas did when they were with the Bills. Thomas was his longtime running back and the two are still close friends which fans often see at Bills home game.

That’s probably what Kelly was leaning into.

Regardless, make your own decision. Here’s the clip you’ve come for:
