Jeremiah Smith was the No. 1 overall recruit for a reason, and with Ohio State football, he’s proving exactly why that is. One long-time Buckeyes supporter, LeBron James, took notice.
James is, as many would know, one of the best basketball players of all time and a multi-time MVP and Champion in the league. Had James gone to college, being from Ohio, the Buckeyes may have been a top contender.
Still keeping his eye on Ohio State football, James posted to X when Smith made a few insane one-handed catches. Those can be viewed here.

The 6-foot-2 Smith has been a key weapon for Kansas State transfer Will Howard. Smith didn’t have the most yards on the team Saturday. That was Emeka Egbuka and his 96 receiving yards.
However, Smith did have the more memorable catches en route to 83 receiving yards and one of the Buckeyes three receiving touchdowns. Smith is already being viewed as one of the most talented Buckeyes receivers in recent history.
