No. 16 Tennessee (10-0) defeated Richmond (9-3), 92-67, Friday at the West Palm Beach Classic at Rubin Arena in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Lady Vols led, 47-39, at halftime.
Tennessee’s Talaysia Cooper led all scorers with 24 points. She scored 15 points in the third quarter.
Ruby Whitehorn totaled 15 points and seven rebounds before fouling out. She scored 10 points in the first half. Samara Spencer recorded 11 points, six assists and three rebounds, while Jewel Spear and Zee Spearman scored eight points.
Rachel Ullstrom totaled 19 points and five rebounds for the Spiders. Maggie Doogan recorded 14 points six rebounds and six assists, while Ally Sweeney posted 13 points, five assists and one rebound.
