Tennessee (18-9, 10-2 SEC) defeated Vanderbilt (11-15, 2-10 SEC), 86-59, Sunday at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Tennessee pulled away in the second half as the game was tied, 21-21, at the end of the first quarter. The game was tied, 38-38, at halftime.
After the break, the Lady Vols used a 28-8 run. Tennessee only allowed 13 points during the final 10 minutes.
Rickea Jackson led the Lady Vols with 21 points. She also totaled five rebounds. Jordan Horstan recorded 18 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
Tess Darby finished with 14 points and six rebounds, while Jillian Hollingshead and Sara Puckett scored seven points. Hollingshead also recorded nine rebounds.
Jordan Walker totaled six points, eight assists and six rebounds and Karoline Striplin posted six points and seven rebounds.
Marnelle Garraud had 16 points and six rebounds for the Commodores.
