Tennessee (14-6, 6-0 SEC) did not trail in its 68-55 victory against Georgia (13-7, 2-4 SEC) Sunday at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Sunday’s win is the Lady Vols’ seventh consecutive game. Tennessee has won its six Southeastern Conference games by 10-plus points.
Tennessee scored the first seven points of the contest and held the Bulldogs to four field goals during the first half.
Rickea Jackson led Tennessee with 23 points. She also recorded seven rebounds.
Tess Darby totaled 16 points, including four 3-point field goals, and five rebounds. Jordan Horston recorded eight points, six rebounds and four assists.
Brittany Smith scored 14 points for Georgia. The Bulldogs were 0-for-14 from beyond the 3-point arc.
