The Lady Vols overcame a 15-12 first-quarter deficit to win its eighth consecutive game and complete a regular-season sweep against the Gators. Tennessee defeated Florida in a conference opener for both schools in December.

Jordan Horston recorded 14 points and 10 rebounds for Tennessee.

Rickea Jackson did not start for the Lady Vols and led all scorers, recording 16 points and nine rebounds.

Jasmine Powell finished with nine points, four assists and two rebounds for the Lady Vols.

Ra Shaya Kyle recorded 13 points and 10 rebounds for Florida, while KK Deans totaled 13 points and four rebounds.

Thursday’s game marked the third consecutive time Tennessee has held its opponent to less than 60 points.
