Lady Vols advance to NCAA golf regional

The Lady Vols advance to a NCAA golf regional.

Tennessee has qualified for NCAA regional-play.

The Lady Vols were selected to compete in the Westfield Regional in Westfield, Indiana Wednesday when the tournament field was announced on the NCAA Division I Selection Show.

Tennessee will be a No.7 seed in the Westfield Regional, which is slated to take place May 8-10 at The Club at Chatham Hills.

The course is located north of Indianapolis, Indiana and the regional, consisting of 12 schools, will be hosted by Mississippi State.

The top five teams and a top individual not advancing with a team will advance to the NCAA championship at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona May 19-24.
