Sacramento Kings rookie Kyle Guy may not be coping all that well during the indefinite suspension of the NBA regular season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The former Virginia product updated his Twitter followers on Thursday afternoon that he noticed his verified, blue check was removed from his account.
Verified users on Twitter can lose their blue check for a variety of reasons, most commonly after changing their username, which appears to be the case with Guy.
After some intense research, Guy was previously listed by the Kings on the team’s official game notes as @kylejguy5 but the rookie tweeted on Thursday from @kylejguy.

Guy, like most around the United States, has likely spent a bit more time on social media with the NBA on hiatus from the regular season, which could last until June.
To sum up: Guy will have plenty of time to get his check back before the season resumes.
