Klay Thompson’s family foundation hosting virtual Bike-A-Thon pledge for wildfire relief

Following the aftermath of a destructive fire season, Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson and his family foundation are pledging to help.

From the North Bay Area to Southern California and Oregon, wildfires have made a devastating impact across the West Coast.

While many deal with the aftermath of fire season, Klay Thompson is stepping up to help. The Golden State Warriors shooting guard is hosting a Bike-A-Thon donation event through his family foundation.

For every mile in the Bike-A-Thon, the Thompson Family Foundation is pledging $500 to California’s Redwood Credit Union and the Oregon Community Foundation.

Our family’s hearts have been devastated by the effects of the wildfires in California and Oregon this year. Having raised our family in Oregon and living in California now, we wanted to step up and help however we could.

Mychal Thompson shared more information about the pledge event on Instagram.
