Another week of college football has come and gone which means we’re getting Kirk Herbstreit’s opinion on the top four teams in the country.
Alabama, who was idle remains tops in Herbie’s ranking, and after a win over Rutgers, Ohio State stayed firmly planted in the same place as last week at the No. 3 spot.
Making the biggest jump was Notre Dame who was on the outside looking in last week according to Herbstreit. The Irish impressed so much they were moved all the way up to No. 2 after winning in double overtime against a less than full strength Clemson squad.
See Herbie’s full rankings below.

Florida jumped back in the picture after a thorough beating of Georgia in Jacksonville, and Group of Five participant BYU is trying to sneak into the party as well. However, Cincinnati and former Ohio State coach Luke Fickel might have something to say about that as we move forward.
On to the next game!
