Kings’ Jahmi’us Ramsey puts up season-high 21 points on assignment

The second-round pick scored a team-high to lead the Agua Caliente Clippers to victory over the Salt Lake City Stars.

Sacramento Kings rookie Jahmi’us Ramsey totaled just eight points over the first three games on assignment with the Agua Caliente Clippers in the NBA G League.

On Tuesday, Ramsey erupted for a season-high to lead the Clippers to victory.

Ramsey produced 21 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 29 minutes of work during the 100-87 victory over the Salt Lake City Stars. He shot 8-of-17 from the field, including 2-of-8 from 3-point range, while he finished a game-high plus-32 on the court.

The 43rd overall pick, who is with the Clippers because the Kings did not field a team in the bubble, bounced back nicely after struggling entering the contest. He found plenty of success driving into the paint, while he also had his long-distance shot dialed in on a few occasions.

Following his performance on Tuesday, Ramsey is certainly looking to build upon that effort and carry that momentum into his next game on Wednesday versus the Raptors 905.
