Key five-star 2024 prospect in no rush to make decision

This top UNC basketball recruiting target is in no rush to make a decision in terms of a commitment. But when should we expect one?

The UNC football program is in pursuit of five-star combo guard [autotag]Boogie Fland[/autotag] and the recruit will be on campus later this month for an official visit.

With UNC offering back in August, they became a serious contender to land the Archbishop Stepinac product. Fland has a total of 20 offers so far in his recruitment and is considered a top 10 prospect per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.

But with his upcoming visit to UNC, it’s the start of what is expected to be a very busy Fall and Winter for the guard. And he’s in no rush to make a decision anytime soon.

In an interview with Adam Zagoria of Zag’s Blog, Fland told the reporter that he is in no rush to make a decision and is targeting sometime next year for a commitment:

Now he’s back at Stepinac hosting coaches and planning visits.
Still, he’s in no rush to make any commitment.

“Yeah, next year most likely,” he said.

It’s no surprise that there is a long way to go in this recruitment and Fland certainly wants to see more schools before he does make a decision. Still, UNC can make a big impact early on with the upcoming visit.
