What we say

It’s hard to imagine any other player being the best in the college game right now. Fields won’t put up the volume of passing yards, total yards, and completions others have in the history of the game because of the shortened season, but his completion percentage (86.7%), and touchdown to interception ratio of 11:0, is literally second to none.

Oh, and there’s this too. So far on the season, Fields has accounted for more touchdowns on the ground and through the air (13) than incompletions (11). That’s just ridiculous nonsense. I can’t play the rookie-level of Madden and perform at that level.

There’s still plenty of time and plenty of nationally televised games for Fields to continue his onslaught on the Heisman campaign, and we like his chances to finish on top.
