Josh Pate told you what to expect from Ohio State football’s 2023 offense

Hard to say he was wrong about this assessment #GoBucks

There was a certain I told you so vibe with 247Sports’ [autotag]Josh Pate[/autotag] and [autotag]Ohio State football[/autotag]’s offense.

The Buckeyes struggled against Indiana, putting up only 23 points and not looking like they have in the past few years. On his Late Kick podcast, Pate reminded everyone that he had called what happened to the Ohio State offense.

Pate knew that it would be a struggle early, but “was not shook” when he saw what transpired on Saturday. The 247Sports analyst has picked Ohio State to make it to the [autotag]College Football Playoff [/autotag] championship game, so he’s not hating on the Buckeyes, just being realistic about where they are right now.

Pate continues to say that until the quarterback situation gets figured out and the offensive line starts to “fire on all cylinders,” the Ohio State offense might have more days like they had against Indiana.

I can’t help but agree with how Pate see’s the current Buckeye offense, they need more time and are nowhere near a finished product. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
