Josh Allen got emotional while talking about how the opening kickoff TD made him feel

“I can’t remember a play that touched me like that.”

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills took the field Sunday full of emotions after going through one of the scariest weeks a team should have to go through after safety Damar Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest in last week’s game in Cincinnati.

It then took just a few seconds for something magical to happen in the on the first play of the game – Nyheim Hines fielded the opening kickoff and took it 96 yards to the house for TD that was straight out of a Hollywood script and had fans in awe. It also had Hamlin, who was watching from his hospital bed in Cincinnati, in awe.

After the game Allen spoke about how amazing that TD made him feel and then he teared up while talking about how he was told it had been three years and three months since the last time the Bills returned a kickoff for a TD. Hamlin, of course, wears No. 3.

Take a few seconds and watch this:

What a magical moment that was for Hamlin, Allen and the Bills.
