Jordan Addison picked by Minnesota Vikings in 2023 NFL Draft

Jordan Addison lands in Minnesota alongside Justin Jefferson. That’s a great situation. #SKOL #NFLDraft #USCtotheNFL

The USC Trojans have another wide receiver selected in the first round of the NFL draft, this time Jordan Addison. The former Pittsburgh star transferred to USC for his final season, and he was selected at No. 23, joining the Minnesota Vikings.

Addison won the Biletnikoff Award at Pitt as the nation’s top wide receiver, and he followed it up with 875 yards on 59 catches and eight touchdowns in 11 games as a Trojan with Caleb Williams throwing him passes.

Addison was the main target, but the loaded USC offense and some injuries watered down his numbers a bit, compared to the season before at Pitt with Kenny Pickett in 2021.

Addison now will join a team that features Justin Jefferson as its superstar wide receiver. Addison is essentially the replacement for Adam Thielen, who went to the Carolina Panthers earlier in this NFL offseason.

That’s a great situation for Addison. We’ll have more on this in the coming days. You will also want to follow Vikings Wire for complete Jordan Addison coverage. Here’s a Vikings Wire primer on Addison.
