Jordan Addison believes he’s ready for the bright lights of New York

If he somehow ends up with the New York Giants, WR Jordan Addison believes he’s ready for the bright lights and big market.

USC wide receiver Jordan Addison is used to playing in front of big crowds and being the focus of much media attention.

Addison will likely be a first-round selection in the upcoming NFL draft and another team in a huge media market — the New York Giants — are on the hunt for some studs at wideout.

Addison told reporters at the NFL combine in Indianapolis this week that playing in Los Angeles has prepared him for anything, including the Big Apple.

“The bright lights,” he said. “Transferring that to New York. It wouldn’t be hard for me to succeed in that environment.”

The Giants select 25th in this year’s draft and may not get a shot at Addison as many experts are projecting he will be a top 15-20 pick.

But if the Giants do land him, they’ll be getting a good one. Addison played just one season at USC after transferring from Pitt and made it count.

The 6-foot, 175-pounder was named a first-team All-Pac-12 Conference selection and was the Trojans’ leading receiver with 59 receptions for 875 yards with eight touchdowns while missing three games due to injury.

Addison can also run the ball and serve as a returner on special teams.
