The accolades just keep rolling in for Wisconsin Badgers sophomore guard Johnny Davis.
The former La Crosse Central star was recently named the Co-Big Ten Player of the Week, alongside Illinois starting center Kofi Cockburn.
Davis helped lead the Badgers to a 3-0 record while averaging 27.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block for the week against a tough slate of Big Ten opponents.
The sophomore guard’s signature performance came this past Monday when Davis scored 37 points while hauling in 14 rebounds in a victory over previously ranked No. 3 Purdue.
The 6-foot-5 guard followed that up by dropping 26 points in a win over the visiting Iowa Hawkeyes.
This is Davis’ second time being recognized as the Big Ten Player of the Week in his young career.
