Cardinals’ Adrian Wilson to interview for Giants vacant GM job

The Giants have a vacancy because Dave Gettleman retired.

The offseason has begun for most of the NFL and there are several new head coaching and general manager vacancies. One team could poach an executive from the Arizona Cardinals.

The New York Giants have a vacancy at general manager because Dave Gettleman retired and they are looking a Arizona’s Adrian Wilson as a potential candidate.

According to NFL Network’s Peter Schrager, the Giants have formally requested to interview Wilson, the Cardinals’ vice president of pro personnel.

Wilson has worked his way up in the organization since his retirement.

He began as a scout and then did not have an official title for a while but was given the vice president title last year.

Wilson is one of the league’s top minority candidates for front-office positions.

It would be great if he could get a GM job, but it would be a loss to the franchise with which he spent nearly his entire career.
