Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a gnarly-looking finger injury during Sunday night’s win over the Buffalo Bills.
But in the immediate aftermath, he made sure to stress it isn’t any sort of long-term concern beyond being a simple annoyance.

What happened on the play where your finger was hurt? Do you know when you got hurt?
“No, you don’t really know what happens. It just started bleeding.”
Did your finger injury have any effect on how you threw the ball?
“No, no.”
So that would seem to settle that, as Burrow didn’t miss any time after getting some treatment on said finger. A bit of good luck for all, considering the finger injured is on his throwing hand.
From an outsider’s perspective, there wasn’t much reason to think the finger impacted him for the remainder of the game, either. He finished with 348 passing yards and two scores.
