The New York Jets had two of their games switched around as part of the NFL’s schedule changes.

The NFL announced that the Jets will play at the Miami Dolphins in Week 6 at 4:05 p.m. ET instead of playing at the Chargers. The game against the Chargers is now scheduled for Week 11 at 4:05 p.m. ET in Los Angeles. The Jets’ bye week was moved from Week 11 to Week 10 as a result of the changes.

The league made sweeping changes to the schedule due to the Titans and Patriots having games postponed because of COVID-19-related issues. The NFL is doing all it can to have all the games played even if it means switching around opponents and bye weeks.

If COVID-19 becomes more of an issue around the league, the NFL may have to consider making up games at the end of the season. The league can only continue to switch around games for so long.

So make sure to mark the Jets’ schedule changes on your calendar. New York is in Miami next week and in Los Angeles in Week 11.
