The Jets had their second day of practice Friday in their preparation for Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers and their injury report for the day was nearly identical to that of Thursday’s. The only difference, and a positive one at that, was offensive tackle Mekhi Becton improved to a full participant in practice following a day of some rest after being limited Thursday. The Jets will also decide this weekend if they want to activate Duane Brown from injured reserve this week. The team opened his 21-day practice window Thursday.
We’ll also know by Saturday if the Jets are going to have Joe Tippmann (quad) available for Monday. He and Laken Tomlinson (hamstring) were both limited again Friday, so Saturday will be an interesting day to follow.
