Jared Goff got booed at the Clippers-Grizzlies game in L.A.

Fans were not exactly thrilled to see Jared Goff at the Clippers game on Monday night.

After leading the Rams to the playoffs in 2017 and 2018, Jared Goff looked like he was a budding star in Los Angeles. He made two Pro Bowls in a row and for a good portion of the 2018 campaign, he was a legitimate MVP candidate.

His play fell off last season behind a shaky offensive line, and Rams fans quickly soured on the young quarterback. Even with the season ending nearly two months, a good portion of those in L.A. are still not happy about Goff’s performance.

At the Clippers-Grizzlies game in L.A. on Monday night, Goff was booed by fans at the Staples Center. And apparently, it wasn’t a quiet flock of boo-birds, either.

The Clippers tweeted a photo of Goff courtside at the game and even the replies to that post weren’t kind to the Rams quarterback. Criticism is always expected when a player doesn’t meet expectations – especially in a city like Los Angeles – bug Goff has taken a lot of heat lately, warranted or not.

The Clippers routed the Grizzlies, 124-97, improving their record to 38-19. It seems they’re on a collision course with the Lakers for a showdown in the Western Conference Finals this year.
