Japanese Embassy confirms Taylor Swift will make it to Las Vegas in time for Super Bowl 58 in album reference-filled statement

Taylor Swift will be in Japan for the Eras Tour the day before the game, but the embassy assured her the trip back for the game is feasible.

Taylor Swift is expected to be in attendance at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Feb. 11 for Super Bowl 58 to cheer on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they look to capture back-to-back world championship titles.

There’s only one slight hangup: Swift is going to be out of the country until the day night the game.

The pop superstar is currently in the international portion of her epic, nearly two-year-long Eras Tour and will be playing nightly concerts at the Tokyo Dome in Japan from Feb. 7-10.

That’s cutting things a bit close with a trans-Pacific flight, but Swift was given an official guarantee that the math works out from the Japanese Embassy in Washington, D.C., which released a statement filled with not-so-subtle references to some of her albums.

Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins.

We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red.

Swift’s relationship with Kelce has been one of the NFL’s most prominent off-field storylines this season and has brought in a new audience for the league. And fans can rest assured that a red-eye flight is all it’s going to take for Swift to be back in the States in time for the Super Bowl.
