Jamal Adams discusses his strained relationship with Jets fans

Seahawks All-Pro safety Jamal Adams discussed his relationship with Jets fans and fans across the NFL since forcing his way to Seattle.

Jamal Adams spent more time talking about his former team on Thursday.

Instead of taking his usual shots at the franchise, Adams discussed the team’s fanbase with Adam Lefkoe on Bleacher Report’s The Lefkoe Show. Adams talked about how Jets fans have done a complete 180 since he forced his way to Seattle in July 2020. The same fans that were once in his corner are now his harshest critics.

“They love you one day, they hate you the next,” Adams said. “They say you the best thing to ever come through the organization to where you’re not even good.”

Adams went on to say that he finds it funny that Jets fans act this way toward him considering how they used to feel about him in New York. He ended up brushing that aside, telling Lefkoe that fans in general either “love him or hate him.”

By doing everything he could to be traded away, Adams burned some bridges with his former fans in the process. As Adams continues to talks about his former team and their fans, the Seahawks All-Pro safety will likely have his future addressed sooner than later by his new team this offseason.
