Jalen Ramsey seemed rightfully irate that Adam Schefter knew about his Dolphins return before him

Jalen Ramsey had NO idea the Dolphins were planning for him to play.

After tearing his meniscus in Miami Dolphins training camp this summer, Jalen Ramsey was placed on a moderate timetable to recovery. The baseline expectation was that he would return to the Dolphins at some point late in the season, not in late October. After all, he needed time to get his sea legs under him and get ready for the rigors of being Miami’s No. 1 cornerback again.

Well, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Dolphins are planning for Ramsey to make his glorious return this Sunday against the New England Patriots. There’s just one problem — they apparently forgot to let Ramsey know he’d be playing this week.

Let’s just say Ramsey took great exception to the revelation on Twitter:

Ramsey would later clarify that he wasn’t upset with Schefter’s report. He seemed far more upset that the Dolphins didn’t communicate their plans about his return to him.

I don’t blame Ramsey one bit. Usually, you’d like your players to know about plans for a return in advance. There is, of course, also the possibility just wanted to break the news himself and that Schefter “scooped” him. But for now, it looks like he found out over a Twitter report — which is an awful look for the Dolphins.
