It’s no secret that the Los Angeles Rams have struggled mightily this season after winning the Super Bowl a season ago. Even with all of the chaos that has ensued thus far, Jalen Ramsey is remaining positive ahead of Sunday’s road showdown with the New Orleans Saints.
“We’ve got to take it day by day, game by game. We’ve got to take maybe a little bit more risks, got to have some luck on your side as well,” Ramsey said. “That’s a fact. Just play harder, figure it out. There’s a bunch of things I can name that’s like, ‘Yo, we need to do this, this, this, this and this,’ but it truly is any given Sunday. Football is a game of moments and scenarios and situations and sometimes you do need the ball to just roll your way sometimes and sometimes you do need a little luck. But like I said, I’m a glass half-full type person. I just miraculously think that that’s going to happen for us starting on Sunday, so that’s what I hope will happen.”
The Rams will enter Week 11 with a 3-6 record after losing 27-17 to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10, giving them three straight losses. Los Angeles is currently in last place in the NFC West and injuries have taken a toll on the roster.
Besides being at the bottom of the division, the Rams have had one of the worst starts to a season for a team that just won a Super Bowl the previous season. Even with things looking bleak, Ramsey believes the Rams will get on track this week versus a struggling Saints squad.
