Jaguars sign former Rams guard Chandler Brewer

The Jaguars added another offensive lineman to the roster Wednesday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed former Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Chandler Brewer, the team announced Wednesday.

Brewer, 25, signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent following the 2019 NFL Draft and spent the first four seasons of his career with the team. Brewer played in only 13 games during his time with the Rams and made four starts at right guard during the 2022 season.

In 245 career snaps, Brewer hasn’t allowed a sack and was credited with allowing one hit, via Pro Football Focus.

The Jaguars’ starting offensive line is largely in place with Cam Robinson and Walker Little expected to start at the tackle positions, Luke Fortner at center, and Brandon Scherff at right guard. The left guard role will likely be decided in training camp with Ben Bartch and Tyler Shatley currently set to battle for the spot.

Brewer is a versatile lineman with experience at both guard and tackle, who will likely battle for a backup role in Jacksonville.

Details of Brewer’s contract with the Jaguars haven’t yet been revealed.
