Now, tell us what’s wrong with that type of scheduling? And before you pooh-pooh on Cincinnati, remember that the Bearcats had to be filled in somewhat last minute for TCU when it backed out of a trip to Columbus. Even better, Cincy was a ranked squad nonetheless last season.
You can also throw up stop signs at teams like Miami and California, but when those teams were scheduled, they were ranked annually — sometimes highly. They are Power Five teams and you simply can’t schedule the same teams over and over.
We have home and homes this decade with Oregon, ND, Washington, Texas, UGA and Bama for the Ohio State doesn't schedule tough OOC crowd that likes to be in my mentions lol thats 5 schools that have been in the CFP at one point

But it’s not just the past. Ohio State just announced a home-and-home series with Alabama set to take place in 2027 and 2028. That fills out a daunting and impressing looking schedule through the next few years. Here are the teams the Buckeyes are looking forward to facing off with in the not too distant future.
