Injury Report: Steph Curry, Draymond Green expected to play vs. Lakers on Saturday

A pair of key Golden State veterans are expected to play on Saturday in a primetime contest against the Lakers.

For the last three games, the Golden State Warriors have been without their All-Star point guard, Stephen Curry, due to an ankle injury. Last Thursday in a loss to the Chicago Bulls, Curry exited the game after rolling his right ankle in the fourth quarter. After a loss to the Bulls, the Warriors went 1-2 during their three games without Curry.

For a pivotal matchup in the Western Conference play-in tournament race on Saturday against the Lakers, the Warriors will get a boost with the expected return of Curry. According to Steve Kerr, Curry and Draymond Green are expected to play on Saturday in Los Angeles.

Green missed the Warriors’ loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night due to lower back soreness.
